USA: Religious leaders speak at Ahmadiyya mosque

Several local leaders from major faiths spoke at the event, which ended in the afternoon with formal congregation prayers offered and lunch served.

The Al-Nasr Mosque in Willingnoro hosted a gathering today of Jewish, Christian and Muslim communities in remembrance of those affected by recent acts of terrorism in Pakistan.

The communities gathered at noon to offer condolences, share in grief and condemn the acts of terrorism.

The mosque, part of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community, is at 500 Bridge St.


Several local leaders from major faiths spoke at the event, which ended in the afternoon with formal congregation prayers offered and lunch served.

On May 28 two Ahmadi Muslim mosques in Lahore, Pakistan, were attacked by Taliban gunmen and exploding grenades, killing 85.
