Members from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community began their leg work of spreading the word on their campaign to remember the tragic events that took place in the US several years ago.

For this local area Hibbi Iqbal led the efforts to go out into the neighborhoods and inform locals about the opportunity to help for this cause. They anticipate raising enough blood to meet their local target that they will combine with the national target of 11,000 units of blood.

One unit of blood will save three lives, 11,000 will save 33,000 lives. As quoted from the Holy Quran on their website, www.muslimsforlife.org:
“Whosoever kills a person it shall be as if he killed all of mankind.” (Chapter Al-Maidah, verse 33)
