Pakistan: A country or a Kafir Factory?

The successful experiment we did of creating new "Kafirs" in the 1970's did not just stop there. Throughout the 1980's and 1990's, a large number of slogans were raised throughout the country's mosques "Kafir, Kafir, Shia Kafir."

The following translated excerpts are taken from an Urdu essay written for BBC by Pakistan's renowned writer Muhammad Hanif, entitled 'Kafir Factory'.
....
When you fill the National Identity Card form to prove yourself as a Pakistani citizen, you are asked a question that is not asked from any other Muslim citizen in any other Muslim country of the world.

You are not asked:
Whether your Mental heath is alright?
Whether you are a thief or a smuggler?
How many rapes have you committed in your Life?
Have you ever paid any taxes or not?
Whether you consider Mohammad Ali Jinnah "Quaid-e-Azam" or "Kaffar-e-Azam"?
Do you want Islamic Shariah or socialism?
Do you think of the Pakistan Army as the country's asset or the thief of the country's resources?

You are not asked to prove that you are a Christian or a Hindu or a Parsi, nor if you're a Sikh or a Buddhist, but the attestation section on the National Identity Card Form that we are filling-in for the past 25 years with a signature or a thumb imprint is only that "I'm not an Ahmadi, I'm not a Qadiani, and, I also do not belong to their sub-sect Lahori group."

A small sect which is now "Non-Muslim" according to our constitution, but the members of which have a penchant for praying 5 times a day, keeping beards and building mosques, why are we so scared of them?

Why is our faith in danger from the people who greet us with Assalam-o-Alaikum, say Bismillah, establish prayers in their worship places, to such an extent that when they say "Bismillah", "Salam" or the use word "mosque" we believe that they should be sent directly to the Jail.

And how did it happen that most of the Islamic countries of the world didn't even consider this a "Fitna" which rose from the village of Qadian as a threat to their religion or culture. In 35 years, our faith has become so strong that we have declared Ahmadis, not only non-Muslims but the world's "worst" non-Muslims.
...
An interesting thing to note is how did something that couldn't happen anywhere in any Islamic country of the world, and a thing which most of the deviated Muslims didn't think about, happened in this kingdom of God?
...
The successful experiment we did of creating new "Kafirs" in the 1970's did not just stop there. Throughout the 1980's and 1990's, a large number of slogans were raised throughout the country's mosques shouting "Kafir, Kafir, Shia Kafir" and Shia doctors, lawyers, teachers, businessmen and analysts were targeted and killed in such a brutal manner that even the Ahmadis would have rose up and said "thank God, we are kafirs, not Shia Muslims"
...
Oh my Allah, is this a country or a Kafir Manufacturing Factory?
