USA: Rancho Cucamonga man runs for president, wants to annex Mexico, Canada

To be clear, Jacobson, 78, doesn’t advocate invading Canada and Mexico; he just wants to erase the national borders from the map and unilaterally declare both countries to be part of the United States.

Rancho Cucamonga, CA; Real estate agent Steve Jacobson has a simple promise if he were elected president: He’d annex Mexico and Canada.

“Just about every president I’ve voted for or against has said the same things,” he said.

But not Jacobson: He wants to create a United States that spans the entire continent of North America.

“We’ve already annexed Texas and Hawaii,” he said.

To be clear, Jacobson, 78, doesn’t advocate invading Canada and Mexico; he just wants to erase the national borders from the map and unilaterally declare both countries to be part of the United States.

“They may be upset, but are they going to do something? No.”

This isn’t jingoism on Jacobson’s part, he says, but a practical desire: “No more fighting on foreign soil again for oil for the next 50 (expletive) years.”
.....
“The worst thing that could happen is that I’m ignored,” he said. “Let’s roll with it and see what happens.”
