Pakistan: Ahmadis jailed on allegation of writing Quranic verses

So Pakistani Muslims, I ask you this: which one hurts your feelings more? The fact that my uncle printed verses of the Quran or that he is jailed for it?

Just got news that my uncle and his colleague have been arrested in Pakistan on blasphemy charges.

Their crime: [It is alleged that] they had printed Quranic verses and epithets in a publication. As an Ahmadi Muslim, this amounts to blasphemy under Pakistan's notorious blasphemy laws. The law states that an Ahmadi who does so "hurts the feelings of Muslims."

So Pakistani Muslims, I ask you this: which one hurts your feelings more? The fact that my uncle [is alleged to have] printed verses of the Quran or that he is jailed for it? Remember the State jailed him in your name. It is your moral responsibility to speak up.

I hope you don't fail me as always.
