USA: Harrisburg Ahmadiyya mosque to host community meal


The purpose of the dinner and discussion is to "have a community dialogue on current issues and promote peace and harmony in our world," according to the release.

The Hadee Mosque and Ahmadiyya Muslim community in Harrisburg has invited the general public to a community dinner and discussion on Dec. 17, according to a news release.

The purpose of the dinner and discussion is to "have a community dialogue on current issues and promote peace and harmony in our world," according to the release.

The event will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the mosque, 245 Division Street.

The Ahmadiyya community, founded in 1889, is a revival movement within Islam that, among other beliefs, forbids terrorism as jihad, according to the community's website.
