The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community's Harrisburg/York Chapter will hold a prayer for peace for the victims, their families and the community at Hadee Mosque, 245 Division St., Harrisburg, on Friday at 7:30 p.m.

In a release, Mosque leaders stated "We strongly condemn the recent brutal killings of innocent people in Orlando, Florida. Our prayers go out to the innocent victims and their families. We stand in solidarity with them as their neighbors, brothers, and sisters in peace.

"The Holy Quran teaches us the killing of an innocent person is like the destruction of entire mankind."

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is a reformist international movement within Islam. It is the only Islamic organization to believe that the long- awaited messiah has come in the person of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadian, India.
