THE AHMADIYYA MUSLIM BAITUL HAMEED MOSQUE REOPENING CEREMONY SET TO START WITHOUT A HITCH, LIVE BROADCAST PLANED

City and county officials, along with civic leaders and members of the clergy are among the invited guests.

Many volunteers were busy  making last minute arrangements for the Saturday's re-opening ceremony at the Ahmadiyya Muslim Baitul Hameed Mosque.  National broadcast production chief called in to check-up on final touches for the tomorrow's planned broadcast of the event to domestic and international audience via the worldwide web.

MTAUSA.TV, a web based video streaming arm of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Communities in North America, had previously announced plans to broadcast live reopening ceremony of the Ahmadiyya Baitul Hameed Mosque in Chino, California (TheChinoMosque.Org).

The Mosque, located about 45 miles due east of Los Angeles, is a spiritual home to the Ahmadiyya Muslim Communities of greater Los Angeles area, including Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside and Ventura counties.

“The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has now built some 15,500 mosques, over 500 schools, and more than 30 hospitals”, said the community in a press release announcing the Mosque reopening event. “..[We] propagate the true teachings of Islam and the message of peace and tolerance through a 24-hour satellite television channel (MTA), the Internet - www.AlIslam.org - and print (Islam International Publications)”, the press release further stated.

“…[T]he life of Muhammad, peace and blessings of God be upon him, bears witness to the fact that Islam stands for the total freedom of conscience as stated in Chapter 2, verse 257 of the Holy Quran: There shall be no compulsion in matters of faith”, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community stated in the press release.
