A five days football coaching camp held in Qadian concluded on Monday. Chaudhry Maqbool Ahmad Media Incharge of this camp told that nearly 50 football coaches across the country participated in this camp.
The coaches were given training by the International football player and Tanzania Football team coach Tommy Taylor, Lee Talor a coach of Liverpool football club and David Ridhlor who is also liver pool football team coach.
charan Jit Singh Gill who is the director of Elite Football academy (UK) said that the main aim of this camp is to train football coaches so they could train good football players for India.
He said with the help of Ahmadiyya Muslim jamat we were able to organize this camp successfully. Special tips were given during this camp to the Indian football coaches so they could improve their game. Tommy Taylor said that Punjab youths have strong will power, enthusiasm, good talent and are hard worker.
He said that the standard of football is not so good here in India. There is need to improve this game. He said if the Indian coaches get the proper and continues coaching from the International football players & coaches only then we can high Indian football standard. Lee Taylor and David Ridhlor said that although we had language problem with the Indian football coaches during this training camp but Indian coaches picked up every thing what we had taught them.
These coaches said if they keep continuously training, then within 3 years India can become world cup football champion. These coaches expressed their willing to come again in India to give training and prepare a high level football team for India.
Charan Jit Singh Gill Director elite football academy Uk said that he has desire to form a football academy in Punjab to promote this game. He blamed the Govt. of India for not showing interest to promote football in India. He said its very shameful thing that we could not produce an international level football team in India. Majlis Khudam-Ul-Ahmadiyya Bharat Natinonal president Makhdoom sharif said that Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamat will promote this game and will organize national level football competition across the country.
He said Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad Worldwide Khalifa and 5th spiritual leader of this jamat sanctioned Rs.150000 for this game.
On the concluding day cabinet Minister Sewa Singh Sekhwan visited on this coaching camp in Ahmadiyya Ground. He said that govt. of Punjab will work to promote football game here in Punjab.
He appreciated Ahmadiyya Muslim jamat for organizing this camp. He announced one lac rupees grant to the Ahmadiyya sports club Qadian. On this occasion the international coaches were honoured by the cabinet minister. Jamat Ahmadiyya Made all arrangements free of cast for this camp.
