The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA is conducting a blood drive campaign to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of Sept. 11.
The Rochester chapter will hold its drive to honor the victims of Sept. 11 at the Baitun Naseer Mosque, 1609 E. Main St., from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
The 71 chapters of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA are hoping to collect enough blood to save 30,000 lives. For more information, call (585) 953-6825.
"No one can change the past," says Allison Khan of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, "but everyone can help save Americans who need blood now. We hope you will come out and remember the victims of 9/11 in the best way possible."
