Children and their parents are invited to help plant hundreds of trees at Dewsbury Country Park tomorrow (Saturday).
Almost 100 volunteers from the Ahmadiyaa Muslim Youth Association aged seven to 15 years old will be taking part in a tree planting session at Dewsbury Country Park tomorrow morning.
And families from across the area are welcome to lend a hand by planting saplings with them on the former landfill site.
Last month association volunteers aged 15 to 40 planted 2,800 at the park, which will be home to the largest new woodland in West Yorkshire.
Families who would like to join in can meet association members at Dewsbury West Community Centre in Church Street, Ravensthorpe, at 10.30am.
