The Ahmadiyya Muslim Association UK held a peace exhibition at Tring community centre in Silk Mill Way on Saturday, March 7, from 10am-3pm.
The association is one of Britain’s oldest established Muslim communities.
The aims of the exhibition included showing the 100 year record of service that the Ahmadiyya Muslims have of serving the nation and to use the platform for community's message to spread peace and harmony between the diverse peoples of this country.
According to the community announcement, the organizers wanted to alleviate the misconception people have regarding Islam and allow the voice of the law abiding, true Muslim to be heard in order to support the government in combating extremists who use the good name of religion to achieve their inhumane and evil objectives.
Visitors were invited to enjoy refreshments throughout the day.
