USA: Imam Shamshad Nasir of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Meets Religious Leaders of Glen Ellyn
Imam Shamshad invited all leaders to the Baitul Jammay Mosque for religious dialogue and to arrange Religious Founders Day celebrations which can help strengthening relations among each.

"Peace is more important then any thing else"
Imam Shamshad A. Nasir of Baitul Jammay Mosque and several other religious leaders met on March 11th, at First Congregational Church of Glen Ellyn, and discussed their contribution for their respective congregations.
Among the leaders who spoke were, Ms. Deanna Filkins, Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the executive director of Glen Ellyn Youth and Family Counseling Service; Rev. Paul Kopka of the Grace Lutheran Church; Pastor Lee of the United Methodist Church of Glen Ellyn; and Mr. Atilla Ayhan, executive manager of Turkish American of Wheaton. The speakers explained their work and community services.
Imam Shamshad explained that Ahmadiyya Muslim Community under the spiritual leadership of His Holiness Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad is established in 206 countries of the world.
Imam added that the community is spreading peaceful message to clear the image of Islam that has been hurt due to some so-called Muslims who have hijacked the faith for their political gains.
Imam Shamshad farther said that His Holiness Ahmad has addressed the lawmakers on Capitol Hill and members of British and European Parliaments to explain the peaceful teaching of Islam. Furthermore, Hazrat Ahmad has urged many prominent leaders of the world through letters and direct contact to take a stand for justice to establish peace.
Hazrat Ahmad's appeal is to save the world from destruction because peace is more needed now and more important at this time of the history then any thing else, Imam Shamshad explained.
Imam Shamshad invited all leaders to the Baitul Jammay Mosque for religious dialogue and to arrange Religious Founders Day celebrations which can help strengthening relations among each.
Leaders present at the meeting agreed with his idea and assured him to work cooperatively.
After Lunch the meeting ended on a note of thanks from everyone!
