The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Canada has kicked off its fifth annual Muslims for Remembrance Day campaign to remember and show support for the sacrifices of the Canadian Armed Forces.

For the month of November, Ahmadiyya Muslims will celebrate Remembrance Day in several cities across Canada. Donations will be collected and poppies will be handed out at all Canadian chapters of the Jama’at.

All funds will be donated to the Royal Canadian Legion.

"We feel honoured to live in this country and as such we feel that it is our duty as loyal citizens to remember the brave soldiers who made and make the ultimate sacrifice," said Lal Khan Malik, national president of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Canada.

This nationwide campaign was first launched in 2011.
