Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Sri Lanka condemns recent horrific multiple terrorist attacks in France in strongest possible manner and offers its deepest condolences to the people and the government of France.
The National President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Sri Lanka, Mr. A.H. Nasir Ahmad, said:
“We offer our deepest condolences to the families and friends of the innocent victims of the barbaric attacks. We categorically reject extremism and terrorism in any form and anywhere in the world. Islam teaches us the sacredness and dignity of human life. Islam requires us being loyal and law - abiding citizen of the country of residence.”
Offering his condolences to the people of France, Mr. M.A. Anis Ahmad, National Vice President of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at (Community) Sri Lanka said:
“We condemn any attempt to justify the killing of innocent lives. We stand committed to restoring peace.”
"The innocent victims of these barbaric attacks and their families are in our thoughts and prayers. The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Sri Lanka prays for swift justice and the speedy recovery of the wounded."
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community founded in 1889 by Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadian, and now spans 207 countries. In Sri Lanka, Ahmadiyya Muslim Community was established in 1915 and this year marks its centenary.
