USA: Ahmadiyya Muslim women host blood drive, serve food at Veterans Day Remembrance


Tours of the memorial were available before and after the ceremony, and a blood drive was hosted by the Ahmadiyya Women’s Group. The blood drive was available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Willow Mill Park had its share of visitors Sunday afternoon as attendees filed into the park for Silver Spring Township’s Veterans Memorial Committee’s fifth annual Veterans Day Remembrance ceremony.

The ceremony began at 1 p.m., and was free to the public. Tours of the memorial were available before and after the ceremony, and a blood drive was hosted by the Ahmadiyya Women’s Group. The blood drive was available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The group provided hot food and drinks, as well.
