Killing even one innocent person is like killing all mankind, expressed Imam Shamshad Nasir of the Ahamdiyya Muslim Community of Chicago while visiting St.Thomas United Methodist Church in Glen Ellyn, after the news of Paris Attacks spread. "We should pray for the people of France and specially for the victims."

The Ahmadiyya Muslim community of Glen Ellyn (Chicago) chapter arranged a special congregational pre-dawn (Tahajjud) and dawn (Fajr) prayers to be offered while visiting St.Thomas United Methodist Church to join in paying respect to the victims of Paris terrorist attacks.

Imam Shamshad said the Ahmadiyya Muslim community all over the world stands with the peaceful people of France to share in their pain and grief. "Those who lost their lives are in our thoughts and prayers."

"Such barbaric attack is an attack on the entire humanity, not just on France and any attempt to justify such killing of innocent lives is absolutely a wrong approach."

Imam Shamshad conveyed that the Head of the Worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, His Holiness, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad has condemned Paris attacks 'in open words.'

"Islam is a religion of peace and it emphasizes on the sacredness of human lives," said the Imam, adding that the Holy Quran declares killing of even one innocent person is same as to kill all of the mankind.

Carrying out such barbaric attacks on the peaceful public is outrageous, Imam expressed. "We stand shoulder to shoulder with the civilized world against this act of terrorism."

On behalf of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community in Chicago, Imam Shamshad offered the heartfelt condolences to the families of the bereaved.
