Germany: Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat presents Islam Exhibition at Marburg City Hall


Following opening speeches, the exhibit was presented with numerous text information broken down by different topic, during a tour in the city hall building. In the middle of the exibition, there are copies of the Koran.

Marburg 03.18.2016 (yb) At the Rahthaushalle an informative exhibition about Islam opened yesterday. It is being offered by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat, which has been known recently to build their mosque project in Marburg.

Mayor Thomas Spies welcomed the various representatives of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat at the opening with representatives of the Religions Round Table, saying the exhibition presents as a building block to meet and provide basic information at the town hall.

Following opening speeches, the exhibit was presented with numerous text information broken down by different topic, during a tour in the city hall building. In the middle of the exibition, there are copies of the Koran.

Mubarik Sabir of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat told Marburg it was extremely important that basic information about Islam, as interpreted by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat, should be taken note of to learns facts about Islam.

The Islam-exhibition in the Rahthaushalle hall on the ground floor can be visited untill 27 March.

  • Opening times March 18 - 20: 9:00 to 19:30 for the public
  • Opening times 21 to 25 March: 8:30 to 15:00 for schools, clubs
  • 15:00 to 19:30 for the public
  • Opening times 26 to 27 March: 9:00 to 19:30 for the public
