The Portland chapter of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA will begin its series of blood drives in 2010 with a blood drive at the Portland Rizwan Mosque.
In an effort to help the American Red Cross increase its blood supply, the Portland chapter of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is targeting to collect 200 bags of blood this year.
The first of this series of blood drives will be held at the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community mosque. The first 30 people to register and donate blood will be entered into a drawing for a free pair of courtside seats to a Blazers game.

* Time: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
* Where: Portland Rizwan Mosque (9925 SW 35th Drive, Portland, Ore., 97219)
