Muslim youths from across the Midwest gathered this weekend in Rochester Hills, Michigan to promote the message that it is very important to be loyal to America.
Maulana Naseem Mahdi of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community USA is condemning the recent acts of terror and bringing the message of loyalty to local youths.
“Loyalty for Muslim youths in America should be for the betterment of America,” stated Mr. Mahdi, “There should be no confusion in the hearts of Muslims youths who live in America to love and defend America.”
Mr. Mahdi has recently been interviewed by Fox News and has been adamant in promoting a message of peace for Muslim Americans and condemning the recent terror plots and acts in New York.
“Moderate Muslims should stand up and raise their voices against those who would hijack the religion of Islam.” The Muslims who are peace loving and law abiding are in the majority and they should strongly oppose anyone who would terrorize in the name of religion.
Islam requires all Muslims to live in peace and harmony wherever they may be. It is therefore a duty of all Muslims living in America to be loyal to the flag and to be law-abiding citizens.
In recent press conferences, Mr. Mahdi has declared that all Muslims in the United States of America to join him in condemning all acts of violence and terror carried out by anyone whoever he or she may be.

Youth from Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Michigan gathered in Rochester Hills at Masjid Mahmood for an annual regional gathering called the Great Lakes Regional Ijtema. Youths competed in different educational and sport competitions ranging from memorizing the Holy Quran to basketball and American football.
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has declared over 120 years ago that there is no justification for violence in Islamic teachings.
