Americans have a right to know where Muslims stand in their loyalties. In response, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community demonstrates acts of service to this great nation, declaring over and over again that American Muslims must be loyal to America.

July 16: Daily Breeze reports that someone, it is not known who, has vandalized the Adopt-a-Highway sign for the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community along Route 405 in Southern California.
Incidentally, this is not the first time an Adopt-a-Highway sign bearing the name of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community was covered up. In the past, after people claiming to be Muslim committed terrorist attacks, the Department of Transportation covered up an Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Adopt-a-Highway sign after receiving complaints from non-Muslims that they were offended that Muslims were cleaning up American roads.
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community responded by pointing out that the expressed negative perception of Muslims is the very reason why the Adopt-a-Highway sign should never be covered. Americans have a right to know where Muslims stand in their loyalties. In response, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community demonstrates acts of service to this great nation, declaring over and over again that American Muslims must be loyal to America.
While the actions of the Department of Transportation were likely well intentioned and innocent (they did take off the covering), the act of vandalism on July 16th was likely not well intentioned but instead, possibly malicious. Regardless, the response of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community will be the exact same. They will respond with peace, prayer, and the pen, as per the response Prophet Muhammad (sa) advocated.
Little do the vandals know that the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has adopted and maintains more highways across America than any other American Islamic organization.
