Faith and common sense: Roberts ruling is right

Any assistance to organizations and countries that are involved in assisting terrorism should not receive any material assistance until they reverse the policies that could fan the terrorist agenda.

Re: Justice Roberts' ruling regarding aid to organizations involved in terrorism.

What a welcoming note from our esteemed Supreme Court. Bravo to Justice Roberts for declaring that the law's prohibition of providing some types of intangible assistance to groups the State Department says engage in terrorism did not violate the First Amendment as reported by the New York Times on June 21.

Any assistance to organizations and countries that are involved in assisting terrorism should not receive any material assistance until they reverse the policies that could fan the terrorist agenda.


Pakistan is a prime example where Amendment 2 and Ordinance 20 of her constitution is giving a legal right to the Taliban to indulge in random shooting of Ahmadi Muslims, a peace-loving community. Recently, on May 28, seven terrorists killed more than 90 Ahmadi Muslims and injured 150 more who were simply praying on Friday at their Mosque.

The enactment of this ruling will enable the U.S. government to use it as a deterrent to foreign aid if Pakistan does not avert the 2nd Amendment and Ordinance 20, which is giving a free ride to the terrorists to kill Ahmadi Muslims. These draconian laws of Pakistan must be averted. Drones can eliminate the terrorists today but averting these laws of the land in Pakistan will ensure that new breeds of terrorists are also eradicated.

Justice Robert's ruling will certainly enable our U.S. government to appropriate funds with caution in an effort to eradicate future terrorist activities by the Taliban or extremist groups.
