The hearings to assess the radicalization of Muslim Americans had several flaws.
First, there are numerous, wide-ranging cultural and ideological differences within the Muslim-American community. The only way to accurately find the roots of fanaticism is to individually speak to each Muslim American.
Second, many suspected terrorists who have attempted to attack from inside the United States do not regularly attend a mosque.

As a Muslim American and a member of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, I believe in the need for national dialogue -- but not at the taxpayers' expense.
