Fiji: Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat to celebrate golden jubilee

According to the organisation, celebrations have been organised to give thanks to the Lord for the growth and development of the community in Fiji for the past 50 years.

Muslims around the country who are members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Fiji will gather around their mosques from today to celebrate the golden jubilee of the organisation.

The celebrations will be held at all their 11 branches which will include prayers, goat sacrifice and meat distributed to the poor and needy and the distribution of sweets to children.

According to the organisation, celebrations have been organised to give thanks to the Lord for the growth and development of the community in Fiji for the past 50 years.

Main celebrations will be held at the National Gymnasium on Saturday.
