A cross-country exhibition devoted to promoting peace and dispelling myths about Islam is scheduled to make a stop in Brandon on Thursday.

The Holy Qur'an Exhibition will meet with Brandon mayor Shari Decter Hirst in her office that morning, but will also have an afternoon open house at the Riverbank Discoery Centre.

The exhibition is being organized by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association of Canada, which has been on a yearlong trek across the country.

The open house takes place from noon until 5 p.m. at the Riverbank Discovery Centre on Thursday, March 8.
