The Youth branch of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Fiji, classified as Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya (MKA) Fiji has been actively taking part in helping severely affected flood victims and relief activities in the Nadi area in co-ordination with DISMAC.
Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya has visited the grief stricken families of Nawaka Nadi on 31th March 2012.
The MKA volunteers catered for about 150 evacuees at the St Andrews Primary School, Nadi and also provided meals for service men and women during flood at Nadi Hospital, Nadi Fire Authority, Nadi Police Station, Nadi Police Evacuation center(Police Bure) and all police officers on duty in Nadi town street patrol.
On 7th April the Youth group cooked food for the hard working Military Personnel cleaning the streets of Nadi, Natabua Inmates, Prison wardens, Mobile Police unit, DISMAC Staff, and also to part of badly affected Navakai Settlement.
They catered for approximately 480 people in phase 2 of their distribution.
The Motto of Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya is “A Nation cannot be reformed without the reformation of its youth.” (A quote from His Holiness, Khalifatul Masih II, The Founder of Ahmadiyya Youth Association)
