Spain: Spiritual reunion | Ahmadiyya Muslims hold national convention

The Ahmadiyya community has tried to convey the message at the meeting that we must reinforce the idea of trying to bring humanity towards the worship of one God, "because we think that both Muslims and non Muslims must unite to achieve universal brotherhood, which is what may prevent the coming of this terrible disaster."

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission in Spain, whose national headquarters is located in Pedro Abad, held its 26th. National Annual Conference during the last few days for the purpose of conveying to the members the importance of unity to avoid a "global catastrophe".

Basharat Mosque of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission in Pedro Abad has hosted the twenty-sixth annual meeting of the Islamic community nationwide over the past few days.

It has brought together nearly 300 people from various parts of Spain and Portugal.

The khalifa of the community, His Holiness Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad has sent Missionary Muhammad Tahir Nadeem, Arabic language specialist who participates in a television program that is seen throughout the world.

The missionary said that more and more Muslims living in Spain are ascribing to the mainstream ideology. He said that when it comes to Muslims from a spiritual standpoint, religious differences are more exacerbated than ever and they are “on the brink of a global catastrophe right now from the political point of view".

Therefore, the  Missionary said, the Ahmadiyya community has tried to convey the message at the meeting that we must reinforce the idea of trying to bring humanity towards the worship of one God, "because we think that both Muslims and non Muslims, we must unite to achieve universal brotherhood, which is what may prevent the coming of this terrible disaster. "

His Holiness, Hadhrat Ahmad has recently cautioned the world leaders and the humanity at large that due the worsening geopolitical conditions around the globe a possible nuclear disaster looms.

The Ahmadiyya religious community has 200 million followers worldwide; in Europe, Germany being the country with more converts in recent decades.
