Another mosque belonging to the Ahmadiyya Muslim community in Pakistan falls victim to the government supported hatred, it has been reported.

The Ahmadiyya Mosque in Sultan Pura area of Lahore in the Punjab province of Pakistan was subjected to damage at the hands of policemen when fulfilling extremists’ demand to stop Ahmadiyya places of worship ‘posing as Muslims.’

The information first broke on social media about damage to the Ahmadiyya property underway when a 'uniformed' group assembled at the mosque to remove Kalima, the Islamic creed, from the building.

The mob of extremists, reportedly belonging to the Punjab Police department, helped meet Islamists clerics’ demands by forcefully removing various writings from the Ahmadiyya place of worship.

According to the Ahmadiyya community spokesperson, Saleem-ud Din, the Punjab Police undertook erasing of the Kalima and the Attributes of Allah from the Ahmadiyya mosque.

The law enforcement authorities and Police declared Section 44 control – authority to disallow public associations, gatherings and protests – in the immediate areas adjacent to the Ahmadiyya Mosque in advance of their operation, it was further reported.

The local media remained tight-lipped about the incident, it has been observed.

The Punjab government has a history of persecuting Ahmadī Muslims under the color of authority and often – very publically - assists various militant factions to keep Ahmadī Muslim from practicing their faith.

The incident comes at the heels of the Punjab Police's brutal torture and resulting death of Master Abdul Qudoos, a local leader of the Ahmadiyya community in Chanab Nagar area of the Punjab.

The matter of brutal torture and death of Master Abdul Qudoos has been also taken up recently during a Parliamentary Q & A session in the UK, Ahmadiyya Times has reported.

The Punjab Police has repeatedly undertaken chiseling out of Kalima and various revered wordings from Ahmadiyya mosques and properties in the past and video recordings have made their way to the internet.
