Sierra Leone: JAWIE AHMADIYYA stands tall for development in Kailahun
Mohamed Kabbah disclosed plans of having a brass band for the school with support from the community people and further reaffirmed his commitment to work in the interest of the community and the government in general.

The Principal of Jawie Ahmadiyya Muslim Senior Secondary School in Daru town in the Kailahun district Mohamed Alieu Kabbah has disclosed to the press that there is massive improvement in the area of development in the school.
He says development in the school has been creeping since its establishment in the 70s noting the school is the only senior secondary school in Daru town established to address the educational needs of people in that chiefdom and the district as a whole. He disclosed that the school went through several hitches especially during the decade long war devastating most of its valuable property. He added that several efforts have been made by the school authorities, development partners operating in the district and the country and the communities to facelift the school in order to march it up with other schools in the urban cities.
The Principal further disclosed that the school can now boast of having a pleasant staff room, computer lab and science laboratory as part of his school administration’s achievement. He further stated that the school has undertaken a number of development projects saying recently with support from UNDP through the Ministry of Education Science and Technology, the school can now be proud of having a solar panel. He added that he has introduced the use of school tie and badge manufactured in China. Mohamed Kabbah disclosed plans of having a brass band for the school with support from the community people and further reaffirmed his commitment to work in the interest of the community and the government in general. He appealed to old boys and girls of the school to do their own input as the school is their alma mater.
