UK: Halesowen Muslims help with snow problems
Members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association, based at the Baitul Ghafoor Mosque, Long Lane, also helped the elderly with their shopping and were on standby with tea and coffee for stranded motorists as snow swept across the region last weekend.

YOUNG Ahmadi Muslims opened a soup kitchen for homeless people sleeping rough in sub zero temperatures and shovelled snow from streets and driveways in Halesowen.
Members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association, based at the Baitul Ghafoor Mosque, Long Lane, also helped the elderly with their shopping and were on standby with tea and coffee for stranded motorists as snow swept across the region last weekend.
Association youth leader Wasim Shah said: ''This year marks the 100 year centenary of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in the UK and we take great joy in the fact that we have been running these kinds of initiatives since our arrival in this great country.”
