The head of the visiting volunteers from Humanity First International in UK has lauded Tahir Ahmadiyya Senior School for the high standard of hygiene in the school environment.
Razia Amini was speaking recently at the school during a visit to present learning and non learning materials, at a colourful ceremony held at the school in Mansakonko in the Lower River Region.
The materials included textbooks, clothes, and sporting materials, and are expected to go a long way in helping the students in the academic and sporting fields.
Upon arrival at the school, the officials received a tumultuous welcome by the students and teachers, before being taken on a conducted tour by the Ahmadiyya area missionary, Ouztas Mahmood Ahmad Tahir, and senior members of the school.
The ceremony was also characterised by recitation of poems titled 'Knowledge' and 'Humanity First' by Wasiu Tayo Omolola and Wonuola Malik Omolola, as well as drama entitled 'The Truant' by the students of the school.

She, therefore, urged the school to make best use of the donated materials.
Receiving the materials on behalf of the principal, Peter J. Braima, vice principal of the school, thank the Humanity First volunteers for their love for the school, which resulted in them travelling all the way from UK to come and support the school.
While assuring all that the materials will be put into good use, he also thanked all those in UK who in one way or the other assisted the volunteers in mobilising the materials.
He reassured the visiting volunteers that they will always strive to keep the school environment hygienic at all times, noting that the school is well known for its high standard of hygiene.
