Canada: Burlington Central Library hosting exhibit about prophet Muhammad


Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at (Community) is a global religious organization founded in 1889. It has tens of millions of followers in more than 190 countries. The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at says it rejects all forms of extremism.

An exhibit is coming about Islam’s prophet.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at Canada - Burlington Branch, is staging The Life of The Holy Prophet Muhammad on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m., at Central Library, Centennial Hall, 2331 New St.

There is free admission and complimentary refreshments.

The exhibition highlights the various facets of the life of Muhammad. Key points will be highlighted on various posters around the hall plus a viewing of the Muslim holy book, the Qur’an.

A video also will be run on the life of Muhammad.

Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at is known for its approach to interfaith dialogue and charitable work such as running schools and hospitals in developing countries.
