Young Muslims from South Yorkshire will be out on the streets and in shopping centres selling poppies this weekend.

For the fourth year local members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association will be raising hundreds of pounds for the Royal British Legion by selling poppies as part of the annual Poppy Appeal.

A spokesman said: “Ahmadi Muslims believe loyalty to one’s country is part of their faith, so we will be at train stations, shopping centres and football stadiums raising money for injured servicemen, veterans and families of the fallen.”
