Germany: Ahmadiyya Muslim girls bake for the needy in Syria


The hobby bakers tried their treats several times previously, in order to be perfectly prepared for the crucial day. A total of 35 participants took part in the competition ultimately.

Women of Dietzenbachr Ahmadiyya Muslim community held a baking contest this past Sunday for a good cause .

35 participants competed with their cakes and pies and 1,200 Euros were collected.

The money raised at the event will now be donated for needy refugees in Syria.

The preparations for the competition ran at full speed for weeks and the hobby bakers tried their treats several times over in order to be perfectly prepared for the crucial day.

A total of 35 participants took part in the competition ultimately.

From festive cakes were decorated with rainbow colors - different from cake to cake.

Winners were Munazza Parveen, Shabnam Cheema and Mohammad Asfa.

Following the judging, donated delicacies were offered for sale.

"We have a total of about 1,200 euros collected," said a satisfied Humaira Qaiser, organizer of the competition,.

The money will now go through the charity "Humanity First" for needy refugees of Syria.
