Ghana Broadcasting Corp challenged to be innovative in news gathering


The Director General of the Corporation, Major Albert Don Chebe (rtd) stated this at a passing out ceremony of some selected staff of the Corporation who were taken through news gathering and reporting.

The Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, GBC, has again been challenged to device innovative ways of news gathering to maintain its commanding lead in the broadcast industry.

This is in view of the increasing competition in the industry due to the proliferation of TV and Radio stations.

The Director General of the Corporation, Major Albert Don Chebe (rtd) stated this at a passing out ceremony of some selected staff of the Corporation who were taken through news gathering and reporting.

The programme is in collaboration with GBC and Muslim Television Ahmadiyya MTA International.

The Director of GTV, Mike Amon-Kwafo called for attitudinal change and work ethics to sustain the corporate image of the Corporation.
