UK: Ahmadiyya Muslim youths take gifts to Sheffield Children Hospital

Members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association visited the Sheffield Children’s Hospital this Christmas holiday.
Ahmadiyya youth had been preparing to share season’s greetings and distribute gifts and treats to the less fortunate this Christmas holiday. The youngsters wrapped up around 50 presents, including chocolates and toys to give to the children receiving treatment at Sheffield Children’s Hospital, On 23/12/13, the youth visited the hospital and were welcomed by the staff from the surgical unit.
Kevin Hawshorn, from the hospital’s surgical unit, received these gifts for their play unit. He said, “We are overwhelmed by the response from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association; we are extremely grateful for their help and I’m sure the children will appreciate their presents!”
The local president of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association said, “We are extremely privileged to have been able to share the joy of this season with the children at Sheffield Children’s Hospital. We would also like to thank the staff who had welcomed us and we hope the children liked their presents.”
