UK: Mayor's chosen charity gets a cash boost thanks to Muslim community group


The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has given £500 to the Royal Borough mayor cllr Andrew Jenner to be passed on to one of his chosen charities the Starfish Swimming Club.

A MAYOR'S charity has received a cash boost thanks to the generosity of a Muslim community group.

A MAYOR'S charity has received a cash boost thanks to the generosity of a Muslim community group.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has given £500 to the Royal Borough mayor cllr Andrew Jenner to be passed on to one of his chosen charities the Starfish Swimming Club.

The money was raised through the Ansar Charity Walk for Peace held in Manchester in June last year and a cheque was presented to cllr Jenner at the Town Hall, in St Ives Road, Maidenhead, on March 24.
