Germany: 35,000 Muslims raise the peace sign 'Love for all, hatred for none'
With about 35 000 participants, it is the largest Muslim gathering in Europe. The religious community founded in India is recognized in Hesse and Hamburg as a corporation under public law.

Salafis should not shape the image of Islam
Rheinstetten (dpa / lsw) - Muslims must aggressively tackle the image of Islam as a violent religion. That is the call made by the chairman of the Muslim Association of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat (AMJ) Germany, Abdullah Wagishauser, on Friday in Rheinstetten near Karlsruhe. "We have to take the wind out of the sails of the Salafists by providing information and education."
The AMJ organized their annual meeting at the fairgrounds from Friday to Sunday.
With about 35,000 participants, it is the largest Muslim gathering in Europe.
