UK: The Pan-African Ahmadiyya Muslim Association launches website, newsletter


The website will also host a photo and video gallery, events pages, news from African Ahmadiyya Muslim communities and a Facts on Africa section providing key information on African countries.

The Pan-African Ahmadiyya Muslim Association (PAAMA) UK announced the launch of its new and dedicated website, www.paama.org.uk, the organization has reported.

The website features, inter alia, Friday Sermons by His Holiness, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, the wordwide head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community; his addresses at ‘Africa at 50’ events, the history of Pan-African Association, and, its aims and objectives.

The website will also host a photo and video gallery, events pages, news from African Ahmadiyya Muslim communities and a Facts on Africa section providing key information on African countries such as capital city, currency, population, location, date of independence, motto and more.

The association was founded in 1986 by the then supreme head of the worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, (late) Hazrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad and it is comprised of all Ahmadi Muslims of African origin living in the UK.

"The raison d’etre of the Association is that of uniting together Ahmadi Muslims of African descent in the diaspora under one umbrella," the organization's website says.

The Association is known for promoting interfaith dialogue and works with external agencies including voluntary and public sector organisations to promote peace, tolerance and harmony in society.

"The Pan-African Ahmadiyya Muslim Association UK has been making strides in our own humble way," said Tommy Kallon, President of PAAMA UK.

PAAMA UK also announced the launch of its newsletter which Hazrat Ahmad has named Pan-African News.
