The “emergency town hall meeting” at Creighton’s Corner Elementary School, hosted by state Del. David I. Ramadan (R-Loudoun) and Loudoun Commonwealth’s Attorney James Plowman, aimed to inform the public about more than a dozen recent incidents involving anti-Hindu messages scrawled across exercise stations, park benches, a pedestrian tunnel and community signs in the Brambleton area. The meeting also aimed to convey a unified and unambiguous response to the vandalism.
“Northern Virginia is a very diverse community, with individuals and families from all racial, religious and cultural backgrounds,” Ramadan said at the meeting, according to a statement.
