India: Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Group organizes voluntary blood donation camp on Kolkata


With aim to make West Bengal a Zero Blood Deficit state, the event held on Sunday, November 22, was organized under the banner of internationally renowned NGO – Humanity First, was held on Sunday.

The youth wing of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community India, Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya, Kolkata chapter, organized a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp in association with Kolkata Swastha Sankalp (K.S.S.), a local NGO working in aid of dialysis patients and Project Life Force (PLF), a local NGO.

With aim to make West Bengal a Zero Blood Deficit state, the event held on Sunday, November 22, was organized under the banner of internationally renowned NGO – Humanity First.

The Camp started with a brief opening program chaired by Senior Missionary-in-Charge, Kolkata, Moulvi Jamal Shariyat Ahmad.

Asst. Missionary-in-Charge, Kolkata, Moulvi Ziaul Haque and Qaid Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya, Kolkata, Nasir Mahmood, were also present.

Sri Pranab Bedi, member of Project Life Force, spoke briefly and Missionary Jamal Shariyat Ahmad thanked the participants.

The registration of blood donation started at 10.30 a.m. The programme was  campaiged through Facebook and Whatsapp throughout Kolkata.

Total 21 litter blood was donated on that day.
