For Canadian Muslims, my message is simple; to continue to challenge this radical view of Islam by exhibiting our true faith of compassion.

As a member of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community of Canada living, I was extremely pained to hear of the suffering of Parisians at the hands of terrorists or self-proclaimed Jihadis. Less than a year after Charlie Hebdo killings, I feel that this again puts the Canadian Muslims in a difficult situation of having to further ourselves from the violence and ideology that is in complete contradiction to our faith.

For Canadian Muslims, my message is simple; to continue to challenge this radical view of Islam by exhibiting our true faith of compassion. It is only with patience and peaceful dialogue that we can continue to make peace in our societies.

For all fellow Canadians, I implore you to not let extremists prosper in their goals by letting malice enter our hearts in any shape or form. These terrorists do not represent Canadian Muslims.
