UK: Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth among Fusion Awards finalists announced ahead of 2016 ceremony

Community Cohesion campaigners and volunteers feature in the 2016 Fusion Awards finalists list.

This year’s Fusion Awards ceremony will take place on Saturday May 28 at King George’s Hall, Blackburn.

The event has helped to highlight the fantastic work of volunteers, charity workers and entrepreneurs through the North West.

The BAE systems Youth Leadership Award features the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association North West; Zainab Akhtar of Preston; the Pendle based Whitefield Youth Association, Blackburn group FACE, a small group that is having a big impact the Little Harwood area of the town and and the 99 Names Arts Exhibition conducted by Manchester schools which raised £40,000 for good causes.
