As the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community (AMC) strongly condemns Sunday's tragedy, they send condolences and pray for the people of Orlando.

“Our sincere thoughts and heartfelt prayers are with the victims and their families,” said Saliha Malik, National President of Ahmadiyya Muslim of Women's Association of America in her press release.

“This is a time for prayers and efforts to stop such senseless violence in our nation,” said Dr. Nasim Rehmatullah, National Vice President of AMC of USA. “We pray for the speedy recovery of the injured and offer our deepest condolences to the families and friends of the victims.”

The AMC believes that the long-awaited messiah has come in the person of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (1835-1908) of Qadian, India. Ahmad divested Muslims of fanatical beliefs and practices by vigorously championing Islam's true and essential teachings. Learn more at trueislam.com.
