The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community celebrated the ‘World Peace Day’ by organising a blood donation camp at Press Club in Somajiguda on Thursday.
Over 150 people donated blood at the camp.
Addressing a press conference on the occasion, Moulana Kaleem Khan Saheb said, “There is great agitation and restlessness in the world; conflicts and hostilities amongst nations are building for political, territorial and economic interests and the world is again getting divided into blocks. Extremism is escalating, financial and economic situation is worsening.
“It is the duty of all to save humanity from the brink of disaster and help establish peace in the world,” he called.
Mohammed Azmath added, “We believe that peace must be inspired by our beliefs and demonstrated by our actions. Today, we express solidarity and join hands to proclaim that the Ahmadiyya Movement in Islam is a partner in all efforts to establish peace across the globe and we herald the motto: ‘Love for all, hatred for none’.”
