USA: “Muslims for Life” Blood Drive in Oshkosh

As part of a nationwide campaign to honor and remember the victims of 9/11, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community of Oshkosh is hosting a Muslims for Life Blood Drive.
The Red Cross will be the benefit of blood donations during this drive, which will be Friday, Sept. 9, from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Oshkosh mosque, 300 N. Eagle St., across the street from Oshkosh West High School.
A spokesman for the drive, which is part of a national effort by Muslim communities, said a donation of one pint of blood can save up to three lives.
Go to the mosque Facebook page to sign up in advance to donate Sept. 9. Signing up in advance will help the Red Cross in its preparations for the drive.
