The Spen Valley branch of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association (AMYA) visited the Woodlands care home in Mirfield, West Yorkshire, on 24th December 24, 2016, where they conveyed the message of peace by presenting presents, which included the book ‘Pathway to peace’, chocolates and fruit baskets, to the elderly
On the same day, the Spen Valley AMYA visited the children’s ward at Pinderfields General hospital in Wakefield, to hand out presents.
33 presents were prepared for girls and boys of different age groups and Ahmadiyya young girls group presented the gifts to the children on the ward.
The children on the ward were very pleased to receive the presents and the hospital staff, who were also given chocolates, appreciated the effort made by AMYA.
The event was organised by Spen Valley Qaid, Manzoor Ahmad.
