New Zealand: Ahmadiyya Elders to hold Annual Walkathon

So far we have contributed over $25,000 to the NZ Blind Foundation. The funds are used for the raising and training of guide dogs for the blind.

The founder of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community said: ''My desire, my wish and my objective is serving humanity. It is my job, my faith, my inspiration and my way''. Thus our community worldwide is engaged in various activity to serve Humanity such as ''water for life'' and ''gift of sight'' in poor countries to blood donations, cleaning of public facilities and walking for charity elsewhere to name a few.

In New Zealand, we have held an annual Walkathon event since 2009 to raise funds for Blind Foundation and Humanity First NZ. Members of our Jama'at rally with external organisations to walk a 10km track to raise funds. So far we have contributed over $25,000 to the NZ Blind Foundation. The funds are used for the raising and training of guide dogs for the blind.

This walkathon is on 18th March 2017, Registration starts at 9:00 am.

It's not too late to Register!

All are welcome to participate in this program by raising sponsorship funds and taking part in the charity walk. Complementary Refreshments will be provided after the walk!
