Pakistan: Man released in Blasphemy case shot by vigilantes, severely injured


The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition where he was referred to Lahore. Police officers have lodged a case against him and further investigation is underway.

SAHIWAL: A man released in a blasphemy case was attempted to be murdered as three possible suspects opened fire at him in Sahiwal.

According to reports, Imran has released from jail a few days ago, however, some locals identified as Sajid, Rashid and Waseem shot him.

The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition where he was referred to Lahore.

Police officers have lodged a case against him and further investigation is underway.
