Get your answers about Islam from those who practice the faith.

As an Ahmadi Muslim, I am obligated to condemn any hate crime against another human being no matter where the victim resides. I wholeheartedly condemn bomb threats and cemetery attacks at my fellow Jewish Americans and the killing of the Indian immigrant.

Islam teaches me that unconditional love toward another God’s creation has no ban and has no wall. In this divided time, intellectual dialogue to embrace our similarities and respect our differences is crucial.

Thus, I would like to invite my fellow Hawthorne residents to join the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Los Angeles West chapter’s “Coffee, Cake & Islam” event for free at 13211 Prairie Ave., Hawthorne, every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Get your answers about Islam from those who practice the faith.
